Reworking Transformers 42

Description

Okay, so my friend MOnzo dug up the original art for another Jose Delbo cover. Here's the original printed version:

Colouring this one was a nightmare. This thing was inked by Dave Hunt, and the inking here was... atrocious. Hunt clearly had no idea what part of objects was what. Here, take a look at the untouched version:

Take a look at it. I mean REALLY take a look. The more you look at this image the worse it looks. Parts are missing, perspectives are all over the place, and the geometry doesn't make any sense! This is all stuff that should have been CORRECTED in the inking process, but it seems to have only been made worse.

So I 'fixed' -- well I editted -- a bunch of the inking. Here's a non-exhaustive list of the edits I made to the lineart:
1) Added a tyre under Prime's cab.
2) Editted his chest/arm to make the distinction more obvious.
3) Added extra lines to fix some chest geometry.
4) Gave Hi-Q a thumb on his left hand
5) Editted Hi-Q's helmet to make the line weights better.
6) Gave Slapdash a right arm, which was completely missing before (I didn't give him a right leg, it's still missing)
7) Minor edits to Darkwing's jet mode.
8) Added the triangles on Prime's knees.

There's also a tonne of places where I joined lines that weren't joined, added lines that were missing, or editted lineweights.

Having done all that, there's still a tonne of problems with the inking that I just couldn't fix, or couldn't be bothered to fix. The whole thing was a lot less pleasant to colour than my previous one, and I'm not as happy with the end result.

I may do an edit later so that Slapdash is no longer block coloured.
